Library Services for Teaching Staff
Our friendly and professional team are here to support students with the resources and skills they need for academic success. We offer a range of library services for teaching staff, and encourage staff to work with us to improve both library services and student outcomes. The library is responsible for the acquisition of books and e-books, print and online journals and magazines, as well as the procurement and management of online databases and other products including the EBSCO Discovery service, CAB Abstracts, Digimap and ClickView.
Library and Information Skills for Students
We run library workshops for students from first year inductions through to PG research skills. We can also work with you to create tailored content such as tutorial sessions or bitesize research skills for Moodle.
digital copies and copyright
Find out how to share content with your students legally on Moodle. We offer a checking and scanning service through the Digital Content Store.
Reading Lists & Collection Development
Developing a new programme, or doing your annual review of a module reading list? We can advise on the availability, cost and formats of new resources to ensure students have access to the most relevant and up to date material. You can also sign up to our current awareness service for new items added to the library collection.
